Join us in standing up for reproductive health and education. Planned Parenthood, the organization that delivers reproductive health care, sex education and information to millions of people worldwide, has come under fire in the U.S. lately, with many politicians on both state and federal level seeking to end funding (and in a few cases succeeding).

During the month of May, you can send a specially designed Planned Parenthood vgift to your friends to help support this cause. (And if you need someone to send it to, frank is always happy to receive gifts!) There are three variations ($1, $5 and $10) for you to choose from, but they'd all look good on your profile when your friends know that you stand by something so important.

Thank you all for your help in our support for Planned Parenthood. This promotion ends June 1, 2012; LiveJournal is not affiliated with Parent Parenthood. For more information about Planned Parenthood, please visit:

I'm so excited today I have this sorta party to attend to, but not really. Lol, doesn't make sense I know. A week ago I got this invite from this lady at a cosmetics/skin care counter about the department store Dillard's having this special cosmetics party for certain customers.

She could've invited any customers but she decided to invite me! Little ol' me. We've met only once before but we stayed talking to each other for about an hour and she was really nice and sweet. I'm so excited to go because every cosmetics counter Dior, Chanel, Estee Lauder, Lancome, MAC, Kiehl's, Clinique will be raffling off goodie baskets filled with their products! Also they will be raffling off a $500 shopping spree certificate for the whole store!!

They will also be giving out free facials, and testing out their products. ;) They will be music and food there as well. I really hope I at least win something it will be very exciting.

Well there's apparently been a massive conspiracy going on behind my back. Most of my family thinks I should get off my bum and start working, which I wanted to do anyway seeing as lack of work has made me gain a few extra pounds, lol. But however, there is a dilemma my sister (who now lives in Houston) has made me promise to clear my birthday week in order to spend it with her and well as a whole day of watching bands play at this festival and taking a mini-trip to Austin and going downtown there. I really want to go because I honestly cannot recall one birthday that wasn't a disaster and to me this sounds like heaven. And I know if I start a new job the odds of them giving me the days I want off are zero seeing as how the new person always gets the shit end of the stick. Which I totally get because well your new and need to prove yourself.

So I don't know what to do!! I'm leaning more towards just using my spare time to work on loosing those extra pounds at the gym and focusing on summer school as it will be more difficult due to them condensing at entire semester into 1 month.

Penny for your thoughts?

Hi guys I know it's been a while sorry about that. About a week and a half ago I did some Spring Cleaning if you will and found my old childhood diary, while my friend who was helping me clean was quick to voice her opinion of us reading it for laughs I was quick to interject and stated said material must remain private. Finally I got to re-reading it, as it's only a couple of pages long. And I came to the conclusion that

1. I really miss the innocence of being a child and seeing the world for the very first time without being polluted by it's perverseness and it's many injustices.

2. I never knew how easily influence I was, what I mean is I guess I just accepted everything people said for face value which is kinda funny because I still do that today. I tend to accept what people tell me as the truth, unless proven otherwise. Also how much of a need I had to please others, I was always doing what my mother thought best and what my brother's told me. Strange.

3. AND BEST OF ALL.....I realized exactly how much I missed writing in it or maybe just the notion of it like this journal here. The concept of writing down all ideas, hopes, disappointments, dreams, achievements, and just in general writing down thoughts. Thoughts which make me, well me!

Lol, three very valid points I'd say. Just felt like saying that I suppose.

Well I've got big news! I've quit my job. I gave my two weeks notice, but those jerks didn't even honor that. My last day was suppose to be October 16th it ended up being this past friday. I know this is what I wanted (hence the quitting in the first place) but it just seems rude for them to not even let me finish my two weeks. I expected some damn professional courtesy, guess that was too much for me to expect even from them. Still after 2 years of working there. I'm finally glad I'm out.

I'm worried, scared, nervous, but above all for the very first time in a long time I feel truly FREE.

Need to start looking for a new job, then. *le sigh*

Meanwhile I've managed to catch up to the latest supernatural episodes up to season 5. Man I'm hardcore addicted. This show rocks so much! And speaking of such, can anyone direct me to a Supernatural mood theme? Or a community of mood themes? Think it's time for a change.

Also check out the new Doctor Who logo. Thoughts? It's clever, but I'm not too sure how I feel about it yet. I'm still waiting for 11th's first episode to judge. lol.

Well I've finished season 3 of Supernatural, I now officially consider myself a fan! Yay, I cannot believe I was missing out on such an amazing show! I've just got to say I'm totally head over heels in love with Sam and Dean. I cried so much when Sammy died! Not just cuz *ahem* he died, but also seeing Dean's pain was heartbreaking. :(

Srsly tho I spent all my money buying the damn seasons now I'm broke. Boo! But since I can't wait for payday to watch Season 4 I'll just patiently wait for it do download. :)

Off to bed now, bye bye!

P.S: We were talking about Hamlet today in my Literature class and now I feel like watching the Dr. Who episode with Shakespeare. Idk why I just randomly decided to share that.

*sniffles* So I've been away cause I've been sick as a dog. I've practically masted on how to breathe through my mouth only. :(

Slowly recuperating though. I've got some exciting news my French teacher asked me the other day if I could help an exchange student from Bordeaux adjust a bit to life here. She basically told me that she needed someone to talk to, because she really didn't get a warm welcome from other students here which is a shame. But I was more than glad to obligue. And get this her name is Amelié, and she's really nice and very European, lol. Beautiful light brown hair, blue eyes, big smile, and a lovely french accent. We spent about an hour just talking about France how different the school systems are, and just trying to make her feel comfortable. Although I kinda wanted to practice my French it seems like she wanted to practice her English so we mostly spoke in English. I was trying to talk slow to so she could understand, lol, even though she said I still talked fast. :P

Other than that finally saw the True Blood finale, and I've got to say I was not impressed. :( Expected a bigger cliffhanger, this just seemed like a filler episode. But I guess when I go back to rewatch all the series they will all just flow seamlessly.

Also got started on Season 2 of Supernatural. :) Man I'm totally addicted to this show. I've got to say I loved Jensen in Dark Angel but I love him more as Dean Winchester ♥.

Instead of staying at school during my break I'm going to run home and continue watching S2 I'm one my 3rd disc.

Are these the Wonders of my World?

[mood: sleepy]
[music: 'Hometown Glory' Adele]

Well my french class went well, speaking mostly only in french during the class which was of course to be expected. But guess I still need to get into the swing of things yesterday I was so tired I went to bed at nine! Forgot how tiring it is to drive half an hour and back to school, not just physically but also mentally. Today I had Ballet, Political Science, British Literature and Astronomy. Ballet was so strange I felt completely out of place yet totally at ease, idk hopefully I can pick up a couple of things. I've still got to go buy my ballet shoes, think I'm gonna do that tomorrow. My professor for my politically science class is hilarious and a real class act, very entertaining and informative. And my Brit Lit class was canceled so I've decided to burn sometime in the library before having lunch with my friend.

Ugh, I'm trying to keep my energy up because I'm going to have a long day today. Woke up at 6 drove to school, have classes until 2:25 then I work from 3 to 8 but have a meeting at work from 815 till approximately 930. My only sole consolation is that yesterday I managed to finish downloading Sunday's True Blood episode, yay! Think I can spare an hour for that. lol

Also must remember to buy myself a planer, to be more organized and I think I'm going to go back to working out regularly at the gym. I just want to be in a better shape since I'm taking this ballet class. Almost forgot to mention I wanted Inglourious Basterds on Saturday and I absolutely loved it! I think Melanie Laurent and Christoph Waltz are my two new loves!

Lazy Sunday

[mood: relaxed]
[music: 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' the Bealtes]

Possibly last free Sunday before school starts! First day of classes is tomorrow and my first class is french class. Kinda nervous because I think the teacher will ask us how our summer was and since it's the second level of beginner's french more than likely we'll only converse in french. Guess I'm just intimidated due to lack of practice this summer.

Also True Blood tonight, yay! So excited!! Can't hardly wait for tonight, but meanwhile to keep myself occupied yesterday I bought Season 1 of Supernatural, I'm so friggin' excited to start watching since A) I already love Jensen B) I love fiction and the supernatural and C) This video. Heheheh, srsly <3 that man!

OMG yesterday I was so glad my iPod was fully charged because I forgot my house keys and ended up waiting 3 hours in my car for my parent's to get home! Since I didn't want to waste gas by having the car on with the radio/AC I just settled for listening to my iPod. I was so happy that I had all the Beatles' albums and also Bob Dylan too, well not all Bob Dylan but "Best of" at least. Really kept me occupied, think my new favorite song of the moment is "Blackbird". Which is sung by Evan Rachael Wood in Across the Universe, who also happens to appear as the Queen tonight on True Blood! See everything is relatable to True Blood! Tehehehe.

Ooh, also managed to watch Generation Kill. Which btw is totally AWESOME! I got to admit the first episode didn't really grab me, but I kept watching nonetheless and because really involved in it. Now I kinda wish it was longer. But if anybody is thinking of watching it, I highly recommend it!

Also quick question does anybody know when the new Doctor Who episode will air?
